A big thanks to our 3 judges who had the task of judging over 600 entries and deciding which pictures made the grade for the book. Not an easy job especially with the terrific calibre of entries we had and only being able to choose some. However I’m sure you will agree that the photographs that did make it are superb. David Evans is a passionate, dynamic, experienced and awarded photographer. He is an Associate of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and a contracted photographer for Lonely Planet Images. International Award winning photographer, Karen Norris studied photography in Adelaide, in 1991 and since then her photography has taken her to 4 continents.
Living and working in Adelaide, South Australia, Karen’s passion for photography has been shared through many magazine articles, newspapers, websites, publications and books. Currently Karen runs a successful online photography business Botanic Photos.

Gavin Blake is the founder and Director of The Centre for Creative Photography, the only Nationally Accredited privately operated Photographic school in South Australia. Gavin has been teaching photography since 1980. His artwork has been exhibited and published. He has facilitated and lectured about photography and many art-related topics on numerous levels extensively in South Australia and in the US. He is now living locally and maintains his own studio in Adelaide.
